NEVER GIVE UP BECAUSE GREAT THINGS TAKE TIME

So far up until now, you might come across many motivational videos, almost thousands of them and I am pretty much sure that this one phrase is consistently being used everywhere. The reason isn't that it is an easily understood thought for people around the world; rather, it's the most essential thought of all that drives an individual toward success. Just imagine a group going on a hike together.

On the other hand there is a guy who is going on the same mission to touch new heights. The group will achieve all that is the combined result of the will of all the members. Some will form the driving force behind the success but others will be the hindrance in the path of success.

So overall it’s quite obvious to say that they will achieve something if the will of the leaders is strong enough to pull the lethargic part with them. They might succeed but not that much as they could if all are driven by a specific driving force and that driving force if intrinsic can be forever lasting regardless of how it happens to be extrinsic and temporary which then wears down with the passage of time.

Well if we talk about the one person moving alone, he has no one to cheer him up on the way if he feels down. He has his decisiveness that brought him on this path, and it is his will only that will determine how far he can go up the road that was not taken by anyone.

Motivation has brought him on this pathway but discipline and determination will take him to all the places that he has to go. Motivation has a time limit because it wears down after a specific period of time, but discipline implores him to do what he is supposed to no matter how he feels about it.

The best part is that if he is determined, then there is no one to stop him or hinder his progress on the way to success. He goes through everything alone and when he succeeds he enjoys the fruit alone because only he who went through all that can understand and truly enjoy the fruit that his hard work bore.

The greatest mistake that any person can make is giving up. You never know how close you were to success when you gave up. These are a few basic things that we as humans forget because now in the era of technological advancements and shortcuts available for almost anything, we are always on the lookout for the easy way out of everything.

This is because so far this is the only thing that has brought all the advancements and developments in our life. The thing that people call development, I like to use the term inertness. Whenever there is a development, I think that mankind has found a new way to procrastinate, be lethargic and exhibit laziness.

I once studied a poem written by a celebrated poet W. E. HICKSON titled “TRY AGAIN”. That poem has some lines that convey a message so profoundly necessary that barely there is field where his message does not apply. He is simply telling us to never give up in an imperative manner that seems a bit more reliable and applicable. “Never give up” is an open sentence that has endless applications in the life of each and every individual who wants to make a difference regardless of how enormous or minute the change is.

Let me state this thing clearly that in all the people I saw who were having the aptitude of an achiever and have still not succeeded they had two things that stopped them right where they were.

It was the conditions they were in, not the financial circumstances, neither lack of support nor the lack of courage but what I find the most dangerous are ego and impatience because they are the problems having their roots inside a person where he cannot reach once implanted and grown substantially.

Ego defies learning and impatience defies the fact that greatness does not come overnight rather it is a slow process that will surely take its time indeed and if you think contrary to this then all you can achieve will need a miracle and they do not happen daily and to everyone.

I will now conclude my brief discussion with a stanza of a poem written by me;

Rise like you never rose before

Shine like you never shone before

Let victory itself come to you

The way it never came before

Let others stand up for you

The way they never stood before
